The 14th “Far East Cup” basketball league held by Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd. began on the basketball court of Fan Dao Middle School on the afternoon of November 5. After fierce competitions, Marketing Team beat Oceaneering Team with the total score of 66 to 41 and became the champion. Winning team and winners were given medals and certificates by several guests, including Kong Qunling, investor and Director of Group CPC Mass Organization of Far East Holding Group Co., Ltd., Yu Jun, investor and Assistant to Factory Manager of MV Cable Factory of Far East Smarter Energy Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as Smarter Energy, stock code: 600869), Xu Mingxuan, Assistant Director of Development and Service Department of Smarter Energy, and Wang Zhenlin, Assistant Director of Membership Department of Smarter Energy.

When the game began, players of both teams were quickly engaged in the game and made the quick transition between offense and defense. Oceaneering Team got ahead of Marketing Team with the score of 35 to 18 in the first half. During the halftime, over 20 players participated in the Men’s Three-point Shootout and took turns to show their skills of three-point shot.
Players of the two teams raised their tempo of offense in the second half, which heightened the tension of the game. With the intense competition in the inner line range and the pressure defense in the perimeter area, each team refused to give in to the other and brought the game to a climax. Although Oceaneering Team had narrowed the gap to single digits several times, Marketing Team widened the lead by the splendid skill and the slow and steady tactics, and won the game finally.
